    About the role

    By choosing the Audit Wales programme, you’ll be studying to become a chartered accountant, whilst investigating how public money is being spent, and whether it is being spent well.

    You’ll also get to play the vital part in the audit of over 800 public bodies across Wales, making a real difference to the communities in Wales. Some of our clients include Welsh Government, NHS Wales, local government and many more.

    Who are Audit Wales?

    Audit Wales are the independent public sector audit body within Wales. Our aim is to assure the people of Wales that public money is being spent well, explain how it is being used and inspire the Welsh public sector to improve. Some of our recent national work has looked at building safety, digital inclusion, COVID-19 and climate change.
