People living in Ceredigion are being asked to take part in a new Wales Audit Office survey and have their say on how they think their Council is performing.

The online survey is quick and easy to fill in and is designed to gather opinion from  local citizens on whether they agree with the council’s priorities in certain areas; what’s changed; whether they think certain service areas have got better, worse or stayed the same - and what can be improved.

The survey will be open throughout February and March and the results will be compiled by auditors as part of a corporate assessment review of the local authority. The feedback gathered will help to inform a report, which is due to be published later this year.

Auditor General for Wales, Huw Vaughan Thomas, said today:

If we are to get a clear picture of how a council is doing, we need to be asking the very people the authority is there to serve and support. It is important for us to hear from the people of Ceredigion and I would encourage as many residents as possible to fill in this online survey to help inform my review of the Council’s service provision and plans for improvement.
