Denbighshire County Council – Financial Sustainability Assessment
18 March 2020

We undertook this assessment because we identified financial sustainability as a risk to councils putting in place proper arrangements to secure value for money in the use of resources.

The Council is in a relatively strong financial position, but needs to strengthen its Medium Term Financial Strategy and control some service overspending to support future financial sustainability.
