The Wales Audit Office is urging the public to share their experiences of orthopaedic services as part of a new study.
Orthopaedics is the medical specialty that deals with the prevention and correction of injuries and disorders of the bones, joints and associated muscles and ligaments. The study will look at the effectiveness of these services across Wales and will make recommendations to the NHS in Wales.
To inform the study, the Wales Audit Office is asking patients to complete a short online survey.
Project manager Anne Beegan said: "You may have been treated by orthopaedic services if you had a sports injury, back pain, treatment for broken bones, replacement of joints etc. Hearing about people's experiences of services is really important because it gives us a rich source of evidence about what services are really like. The survey is really easy to complete and people won't be asked to give their name."
If you have had orthopaedic treatment in the past two years, please click on the link below to complete our short survey - it will only take 5 to 10 minutes. Take part in the survey [Opens in new window] *please note the survey has now closed
