The Hidden Disabilities Sunflower

26 June 2025
  • Audit Wales is proud to announce its joined the Hidden Disabilities Sunflower, a globally recognised initiative that supports individuals with non-visible disabilities.

This membership marks a significant step in our commitment to being a model organisation, fostering inclusivity and ensuring that everyone—regardless of their disability—is recognised, understood, and supported.

Hidden Disabilities Sunflower was established to support individuals with conditions that may not be immediately visible, such as autism, chronic illnesses, sensory impairments, and mental health challenges. The Sunflower symbol provides a discreet way for individuals to signal that they may need additional assistance, patience, or understanding in public spaces and workplaces. This includes our employees and stakeholders.

Through our membership, we will actively integrate the Sunflower initiative into our everyday life ensuring that our employees are educated about non-visible disabilities and that anyone working for, with or visiting our workplaces will be welcomed and supported in a way that helps them be their best.

The Sunflower reflects our GREAT behaviours that guide everything we do.

We believe everyone benefits from a neuroinclusive workplace and it is our responsibility, to build on our  dedication to making Sunflower-friendly  spaces that are welcoming and accessible to all.
