We’ve issued a language preference survey asking our audited bodies to state in which language they would prefer to receive documents and services from us.
The Auditor General for Wales, Huw Vaughan Thomas said:
We are committed to, and take pride in, providing bilingual services. In order to provide our services as effectively and efficiently as possible it is important that our data on organisations’ language preferences is up to date. As a bilingual organisation, our aim is to always offer our clients and the public a language choice. This triennial preference survey is an important part of our Welsh Language Scheme and I would encourage our audited bodies to make their requirements known by completing our survey.

The information helps us to meet organisations’ linguistic needs by enabling us to plan our workforce effectively and further develop our recruiting and training initiatives.
